An elderly driver managed to survive a horrific crash after smashing his vehicle into a coffee shop at breakneck speed.

年配の運転手が車をコーヒーショップに猛烈なスピードで衝突させた後、恐ろしい事故を生き延びました。

The unidentified man, aged 90, crashed through Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company, in Los Gatos, California, shortly after 9pm on Thanksgiving.

90歳の身元不明の男性は、感謝祭の午後9時過ぎにカリフォルニア州ロスガトスにあるロスガトスコーヒーカンパニーを通り抜けました。

The car was seen hurtling down a 20mph zone in dramatic surveillance footage of the collision.
It showed the vehicle sailing through a red traffic light right into the storefront with a loud bang.

衝突の劇的な監視映像で、車は時速20マイルのゾーンを疾走しているのが目撃されました。
車両が赤い信号を通り抜けて店頭に向かって大きな音を立てて航行している様子が映っていました。

Another clip was later shared on social media showing the vehicle, a Volvo, being pulled out of the store.

別のクリップは後にソーシャルメディアで共有され、車両であるボルボが店から引き出される様子が映し出されました。

Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department said the driver was taken to hospital in a ‘serious but stable condition’, adding that alcohol may have played a role.

ロス・ガトス・モンテ・セレノ警察署は、運転手は「深刻だが安定した状態」で病院に運ばれたと述べ、アルコールが役割を果たした可能性があると付け加えました。

Police added that the store was closed and unoccupied at the time of the crash, with the driver the only occupant of the vehicle.
